Scolari's name originates in the 11th century and was written in the Gold Book of Campidoglio as on the 6th of January 1188 Paolo Scolari was elected Pope. One of the most illustrious family ancestors was a captain of the emperor Sigismond, who ruled over Serbia during 1426, whose branch of descendants moved to the Brescian area and owned the feudal castle "de Scolaris". Other notable men increased the family fame during the 16th, 17th,18th,19th centuries.
In recent years, grandfather Pietro was extremely fond of the land and in 1929 he decided to to share his love for nature living in full symbiosis with the fruits of his labour.
